At Rustic Manor 1848 we have a different approach to event planning. With a combination of over 15 years in the hospitality industry, a hint of country charm, and the simplicity of a loving family orientated environment makes for the perfect event location. We offer personalized services focusing on a unique rustic design.
Located in south central Wisconsin, perfectly between Milwaukee and Madison, Rustic Manor 1848 sits on just under 12 acres of wooded trails and meadows. The property is surrounded by the beautiful Bark River, extensive farmland, and features multiple sites for wedding ceremonies and scenic photos. The barn itself is a grand 8,000+ square feet that can comfortably host up to 275 guests between the lower level and hayloft for your event. The barn features handicap accessible restrooms, 2 Bridal Quarters with salon set-up, a 24 foot hand crafted bar, private Vendor Staging Room, and beautiful Hay Loft overlooking the Main Hall as well as a deck overlooking the picturesque countryside. The interior of the barn is heated and cooled to allow complete comfort for you and your guests.

In addition to specializing in an elegant rustic barn setting, we offer an unmatched team of service personnel that will assist you in making your event come to life with unique touches customized around you. Even though we have added the modern conveniences such as restrooms, Bridal Quarters, and a Vendor Staging Room, we have worked hard to keep the true county charm to the barn.

Meet Owners Eric & Whitney
Owners Eric & Whitney had always dreamed of living in the country and running their own business and it all started with a love story of their own.
Eric met Whitney in Milwaukee Culinary School in the spring of 2012 where they developed an instant connection with one another. Eric grew up in Pewaukee and Whitney is a Hartford native.
Whitney holds degrees in Dietetics & Culinary Arts where she was able to cultivate her deep passion for the hospitality industry. Growing up she would meticulously plan tea parties and play dates with friends, not knowing her love for subtle event details would someday lead to wedding planning.
Eric earned his degree in Culinary Arts where his passion for food flourished into a creative outlet. Combining his culinary skills with his love for the outdoors, a 12 acre property with an endless outdoor honey-to-do list fell perfectly into place.
Not only is their home full of history and humble beauty, but it stands as a testament to the love, dedication, hard work, and the unending imagination that it's owners share together. It is a home built with love for generations to come and they can finally open it's doors to share with you.
The couple was the first married on the property in June 2014. Only 2 weeks later they broke ground to renovate the existing barn into what it is today. Over 3 years in the making, Rustic Manor 1848 opened it's doors to it's first wedding in April 2015.
